The Caribbean Philosophical Association, the Frantz Fanon Foundation, Rutgers University, and the Malcolm X and Dr. Betty Shabazz Memorial and Educational Center invite you to these special events commemorating the life and work of Frantz Fanon as well as the 50th year anniversary of his influential book The Wretched of the Earth.
1) Friday Sept. 30th from 7:00 to 8:30 pm at Rutgers University, New Brunswick (easily accessible by car and with public transportation from New York City--transportation instruction are included further below)
2) Sunday Oct. 2nd at the Malcolm X and Dr. Betty Shabazz Educational and Memorial Center (3940 Broadway, NYC) from 2:15 to 3:45. The events at the Shabazz Center will conclude with a dialogue among Mireille Fanon-Mendès France, Nkosinathi Biko from the Steve Biko Foundation, and Malaak Shabazz from 4:00 to 5:30 pm.
